I’m an independent journalist, fact-checker, and researcher based in South Jersey.
Previously I was a part-time reporter at The Retrospect, where I covered municipal and BOE meetings, and produced enterprise reporting. During my tenure, I earned six New Jersey Press Association Better Newspaper Contest Editorial Weekly Division awards. Prior to my time at The Retrospect, I reported on Camden County for NJ Pen and WHYY. Outside of local news, I write about disability, informed by my perspective as a disabled woman. You can see more of my work in the reporting clips tab.
My fact-checking experience is extensive and includes contributions to two magazine issues that were ASME award finalists and a Hillman Prize-winning investigative series. You can see more of my work in the fact-checking clips tab.
I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in December 2019, majoring in communication and minoring in Russian history and culture. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, drinking cold brew year around, hanging out with my pets, and watching figure skating.
